An interesting enough innovation in the latest version of Excel 2010 is choosing colour schemes for displaying working documents. Here and throughout the book, a standard colour scheme with predominantly blue colours used. You can change it to a silver and dark colour scheme. The choice of a colour scheme performed in the Color scheme section of the Excel Settings window, where you need to select the desired item from the drop-down list.
There are three options: Blue, Silver and Black. The working windows were displayed in Silver colour scheme mode. As a result, the working window of the document will darken significantly (depending on which of the alternatives to the Blue option is selected: Silver or Black), but not so much that you do not recognize the familiar interface elements.
(below figure shows how the working application window will look in the Black colour scheme mode).
Which colour scheme to use is up to the user’s taste. In any case, light exotic work with the application will not hurt.
